Happy hump day! The WWW Wednesday meme is currently hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words, and is a great way to do a weekly update on what you’ve been reading and what you have planned. I loved doing this challenge, and am so excited to give it another shot.

To take part, all you have to do is answer the following three questions:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
What I am Currently Reading:
Last week on WWW Wednesday, I was gearing up to read Archive of the Forgotten by A.J. Hackwith, the awaited sequel of Library of the Unwritten. I am having a little trouble getting through it, but only because there are so many characters and new theories. Looking forward to getting to review it. I have also started Emerald Blaze, the newest Hidden Legacy novel by Ilona Andrews, because everything she touches is gold and I forgot I preordered this. I will never not immediately read whatever Ilona Andrews comes in the mail, and really needed a UF pick me up.
What I Recently Finished Reading:
I got to finish Death and Daisies by Amanda Flower fairly quickly after reading Flowers and Foul Play, and now I am anxious to start the last one in the series but have so many other ARCs to read before I can jump into something just for fun. I also dove right in and finished Ghosts of Sherwood and Heirs of Locksley by Carrie Vaughn, cute YA/middle grade novellas that show what Robin Hood’s kids would be like. They were fun light reads, and the language wasn’t “young” in the sense that I couldn’t enjoy them. As a Robin Hood buff, this was a pleasure, and a good escape from the larger books I have been reading.
What I Think I’ll Read Next:
For my next Netgalley ARC, I have On Borrowed Crime by Kate Young. I have never read anything by her, but the premise (mystery book club needs to solve their own mystery) is cute and tried and true. Hoping for the best. I will also finally get to Mums and Mayhem, since it took me not even two days to read the first two books I enjoyed them so much, and there was a cliffhanger at the end of book 2. To escape from being “overly cozy” and because my job’s book club chose it and because it has been on my list forever, I will be starting The City We Became by N.K. Jemisin. I am over the moon about this one. N.K. Jemisin is an amazing writer, I have my copy signed, and I can’t wait to dive into some good Brooklyn-based fantasy.
That’s all, folks! Drop a comment and send me a link to your WWW Wednesday so we can chat 🙂
The Ghosts of Sherwood sounds great, I’ll have to check out that series for sure. And obviously all the Amanda Flower books.

I hope you enjoy! Ghost of Sherwood was almost criminally short at around 112 pages each, but they were very fun and cute. Amanda Flower is just so wonderful, I hope you enjoy, she always infuses a little magic into her mysteries (magical garden or library) so it adds a little something fun. Happy reading!

I have yet to read one of Andrews’ books, but I’m hoping to rectify that soon. I’ve heard great things about Emerald Blaze, though. Hope you love it!!

I love her so much! She has *I think* four series, one that is more SFF and three that are pure urban fantasy. The Kate Daniels series is awesome but it is a huge undertaking (like 12 books), but if you want to try out her work, the “On The Edge” series was only 4 books. Hope you enjoy also!
