WWW Wednesday – October 14, 2020

Happy Wednesday, all! Today was a wonderful day to wake up to, since it is the first day that it hasn’t rained all week. Don’t get me wrong, I love rain, but it was a lot. So, I woke up today excited for the WWW challenge. The WWW Wednesday meme is currently hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words, and is a great way to do a weekly update on what you’ve been reading and what you have planned.

To take part, all you have to do is answer the following three questions:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

So, without further ado…

What I am Currently Reading:

Idols & Enemies is from last week, because I haven’t had as much time as I would like to dive into it. However, I did get the chance to start The Orphan of Cemetery Hill finally, and I am enjoying it. The insta-love thing is really annoying, but I am trying to ignore it and focus on the really great vibe and murder mystery.

What I Recently Finished Reading:

I only finished The Left-Handed Booksellers of London last week, but I was satisfied because it was that good. Review to come, I am trying to wait so I stay unbiased, since I love Garth Nix too much.

What I Think I’ll Read Next:

So many books, so little time. I have received all of the above in the mail already / as e-book and they were all on my October TBR, so it is fair game. Murder on Cold Street is the next book in one of my favorite series, Magic Lessons is a prequel to my favorite book, The Midnight Library looks like a cozy October read as compared to a spooky one, and A Deadly Education was one of my most anticipated books for this year (I have learned that some reviewers are finding it racist and un-inclusive, which is a shame because I pre-ordered it. I will read it and if it is that bad, I will pass it along. Bummer though).

Conclusion:

That’s all for me! Tell me what you think in the comments, and drop your WWW Wednesday link :).

    1. I am having a hard time reviewing it because they love plot really kills it for me, but the historical context and spookiness were so good. It is also my first Hester Fox. Hope you have a better time of it if you read it, happy reading 🙂

  1. I’m glad you’re enjoying The Orphan of Cemetery Hill despite the instalove going on. I would like to say I’m going to be reading it this month, but it seems like the days are just slipping by so fast, and as you mentioned ~ so many books and so little time. We shall see if I manage to squeeze it in.
